Term Dates:
-
Classes return after the Summer holidays w/c 2nd September for 4 weeks.
-
Classes will then be paused from 28th September until 3rd February
-
Classes will return as normal from w/c 3rd February
Payments:
As you are all aware I will be taking a short maternity break from Monday 30th September until Monday 3rd February and as the sole owner and teacher of the company, classes will be closing during this time. They will continue as normal from 3rd February as mentioned.
As payment terms stand, there are 39 teaching weeks per year and the cost of these classes is totalled up and spread evenly across 12 months and paid by direct debit. Here's a link to the full explanation for our payment terms.
From January to the end of September there will have been 29 term time classes taught. Using the 60 minute classes as an example:
The 60 minute classes work out at £7.70 each. 29 (teaching weeks) x £7.70 (cost of class) = £223.30 (total amount owed). Then, £223.30 divided by 25 (usual monthly cost) = 9. This means that there needs to be 9 months of £25 to cover the costs of the 29 classes taught from Jan-Sept. Therefore, an invoice will be sent in August as normal even though there are no classes. An invoice will also be sent as normal for September as there will be classes for that full month which are included in the above sums.
The above also stands for the 45 minute and 30 minute classes.
No invoices will be sent for October, November, December or January. The next invoice will be sent in late January ready for classes to return in February 2025.
Please note: If your child started classes after 1st February, you WILL NOT receive an invoice in August as there will be no need to catch up on payment for past classes taught.
